Acquisition

Wijdeven has been acquired by WitecWitronic, another Dutch company operating in the same sector and headquartered in Ter Apel. The acquisition represents an important development for our company. It will enable both businesses to develop further as a new company that will be more competitve and able to pursue its growth strategy further. The new company will employ more than 150 employees in the Netherlands in total, of which about 100 work at Wijdeven and 55 at WitecWitronic. The total turnover will amount to around € 25 million. For the time being, both companies will continue to operate under their own names.
